The assault caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
